Yes after reading that I'll definatly change it. However from reading the link they do say bluish smoke and this was definatly white plumes. I will change it for definite after reading the link though! Could you point me in the right direction of which pcv part to buy please? Looking on ebay...

I believe it is. I havnt touched or modified the pcv valve. So you don't think that over filling of the millers additive would of caused the smoke?

Scenario: I was in traffic for a good hour with the engine on tick over going nowhere. Sometimes I turned off the engine as stuck in traffic for ages with out moving. I then realised in first gear a puff of white smoke would happen. I ignored it at first then it got worse and worse. Very bad...

I used 2 cans of Mr muscle today and jet washed. I let it dry in the sun and then used a hair dryer to get nice and dry. All done and very happy with the results. less smoke and better "pick up".

Noob question. If there's still a bit of water inside the inlet manifold when fitted back in after cleaning. Will it ruin the engine or will it just dry out?

New aero wipers., rock sliders, new bigger land rover lettering at the front, fitted egr blank part, inlet manifold cleaned and wind deflectors. And finished off with a nice clean.

Opening back an old thread. I live in netley abbey just outside southampton. Anyone know of any green laning down this neck of the woods? I'm new so an easy route would be good for a beginner! When searching the closest ones seem to be in Petersfield. Anything closer would be better.

Right I mean left.... very lame joke :o I tried what you said and none of the other lights were flashing. I took it apart any how to check the earth. Looked pretty new. Any how I took it off and tried it at different points. But none worked the back light or the indicator.... So it tired...
