    P38A I had it!!

Calibration was by blocks, set all the heights and as soon as I restart the car it faults with sensor out of range a sends the LH back to default and the rear left goes basically wade height on standard when the others are fairly close to the physical measurements. When dropped to motorway the...

    P38A I had it!!

I agree Keith, I love the ride but I cannot keep hunting for this issue, I suspect a faulty wire somewhere in the loom but I have tested them all and thus far nothing has surfaced. All of the EAS stuff is functional and have checked the operation via my nano and all is working. So as I said...

    P38A I had it!!

Well after 4 new air bags, 3 valve blocks (rebuilt) 2 ECUs tried, new rear sensors, 6 calibrations later the rear LH rises to beyond wade height when set to standard height and is sitting at standard when motorway is selected. The other corners were ok(ish) but now the front wont rise but the...

    P38A I had it!!

Well for those of you that have read my posts regarding the suspension issues I am finally throwing the towel in. I am going to replace the lot with springs, the question is are the Britpart ones any good, where is the best source and will I need anything else additional to the kit. At least I...

    P38A EAS freeze

Thanks again, I get messages from all doors (all 4 now that I have Marty's latch installed) the tailgate also sends a message so at least that lot works ok. The EAS does freeze when the brake pedal is applied too but nada with the doors open.

    P38A EAS freeze

Thanks for that, explains some of it, do you know of a way to check the signal from the BECM to the EAS ECU, I am wondering if I have a continuity issue as mentioned by Keith. I have cleaned the big connector as well as I can but in all fairness it wasn't that bad. Maybe the BECM plug has some...

    P38A EAS freeze

That I am not sure, I know the immobiliser and key code are off (thank god) Does the signal to freeze the EAS come from the BECM or the EAS ECU? I just ask that because from what I have understood the only signal was the speed one

    P38A EAS freeze

The brake freeze function is working, can I turn the freeze function on via the Nanocom? I have no idea why it stopped though. Thanks for the info BTW

Is that the signal for the freeze mode?

    P38A EAS freeze

Crikey, a working cruise control, who would have thunk it :) Mine does freeze the EAS with the brake but nowt else. My BECM is picking up the signal from the doors (all 4 now!) which made me wonder if there is a software switch in the BECM. I shall delve tomorrow coz I ain’t gonna let it beat me ;)

    P38A EAS freeze

I am just trying to think back what May have started this and I am wondering if it has anything to do with when I sent the BECM off to Rick the Pick at Callrova a good few years ago. Is Rick still about?

    P38A Eas info

Well, latch changed, not too bad a job I guess and it has sorted the interior and puddle lights not working with that door and I get a message on the message centre when the door is opened so all in all fairly successful. Only a handful of swear words were uttered, I can see why you need to take...

    P38A EAS freeze

Well it has only taken me 2 1/2 years to get around to replacing what appeared to be a faulty LH rear door latch. (My apologies Marty) I now have the interior and puddle lights and the door open message coming on when I open the door however, I had thought that this switch being knackered also...

    P38A Eas info

Probably the front as they are “fairly” accessible. I have looked at the insides and although I can see the latch I don’t think it will get through the bits and bobs. Seeing as I have had most of this car apart for various issues I can add it to the list. I can also replace the door shedders at...
