You should get away with 20mm spacers as fender wheels are well inside the arches and 265's dont stick out too bad. BUT you may get an ass of an MoT tester!

Are they for a disco? Check their load rating. Once done spacers with extended threads or just extended threads will work but FFS don't cheap out if you can't afford the good kit don't do it!
