1995 4,6 I bought Schraeder for my EAS ages and ages ago I have now lost them Can someone please tell me what size they are and where I got them? They had wee blue inserts but I have no idea if they are colour coded. ta much

No they got changed with new windscreen just before the change to E10 thank goodness. New windscreen was E10 compliant

I, and my garage, blame E10 for burning my valve together of course with 210k miles and for corroding fuel lines

Thank you Grrrrr If it is the rings and they have knackered the bore then the engine will have to come out. I would replace the engine whilst the original is rebored if required as seems may take a while. Would get it top hatted too as doubt that was done as she is a 1995 vehicle altho has done...

Thanks for all the info folks. Havent borescoped it yet I was going to ask about who is best to rebore and I guess is V8 Developments. Where are they?

Update Put ol in bores and all ok apart from No 4. Either rings gone or valve not shutting The plan is to put borescope in to see if bore is scratched by broken ring and check the rockers There may also be a 4.0 engine available, Is that a straight swop does anyone know?

Not checked rockers Good idea to put air into adapter Fancy plugs would be a lot cheaper than the heads so will try that first

Compression in some cylinders is about 7 bar and others at 5 bar so going to put some oil in the plug holes and try again. Possibly as its been a while since she has run its possible the oil has been washed away. Then may try some twin electrode plugs.

My compression tester which I hadnt used for years, didnt fit. Need to make an adapter of some kind. Will see what results are this week I hope if allowed out to play Thank you for all your good wishes
