I agree with all the above but. Why does she drop from standard to access no problem but slowly from wade to standard?
Does the exhaust from wade go a different route? I thought all exhausts went through the dryer to dry the drier?

I have 3 x P38s which are about to be scrapped due to ill health and lack of time
1. 1995 4.6 208k was my daily driver until ill health put her off the road for a bit an she then failed MOT on emissions. Apparently needs a new engine.

I am thinking of changing cos the GEMS is knackered and quoted approx 6k to replace with recon unit.
2. I may be able to get a donor vehicle with a THOR engine.
3. Seems a great pity to scrap a pretty good P38 but 6k is a lot of money

I am not looking for one but one is available locally. I have two P38s one needs new engine for emissions and other needs head gasket and I am suffering withdrawal symptoms
I dont think is head gasket, more likely I think to be burnt valve.
Decided to keep engine and rebuild engine myself. Will keep me occupied for a while but no rush.
