No need to go under the car too see the belt. It can be seen when you open the bonnet and there is a manufacturing date on it :eek:. Only the thermostat housing is in plastic. The pump has aluminium housing.

Hi, You can put new head lights, H7. Head lights can last 1 or 2 years, after they provides less and less light. Put you car in a front of a wall, old lights provides a blurry yellow patern, they are good to change. You will certaintly need to adjust light after replacing them.

So certaintly the clutch need to be done. Spring on the pedal are only here to help the pedal to return to its place. The hydraulic system make the pedal returning to its place.

Hi, If it is the Di freelander ( not td4), you have an hydraulic system, with the slave connected by a cable to the cutch. In that system, if the pedal is too high, the slave braket holder can be broken, or worst internal parts of the clutch part is brocken.

If you can’t see any leak, and you don’t have any liquid loss, where is the leak ?

If you change the pump, it’s better to change the thermostat, the thermostat houssing is in plastic and can leak. If only the thermostat houssing is leaking, it can be changed in less time than the pump.

Hi, The water pump is only needed if it’s leaking. As I remember LR ask 3.5 hours for the job.

That engine is more reliable than most of today engine that breaks without warning at low mileage.
