Yes I agree, I'm going to give it a dam good key with a dremel and clean metal with thinners to ensure there is no greese as well. I'll put some pictures up here when done. If this does not work I'll probably put a new lump in when I can. But it really is running well exept the leak so I hope...

It was pooring out all around the bottom of the pump I could not see any obvious split when I took the pump off. I guess the pump was having issues since I got the car because now I have replaced the thing it going up hills like stink, even accelerated in 5th up hills with a 1.2 transfer box...

Ok, the car has been sealed till Friday when the Steele Seal let go and its leaking again. I'm going to bit the bullet and take the manifolds off, rub the engine down degrease it and then apply JB Weld to the hole, I'll take photo's.

Mike, my 200tdi is heater is pants as well and I have also changed the matrix atc, it does have water going through it, but only on long motorway trips does the temprature get up to a reasonable level.
