A well serviced 200tdi should not be sluggish as standard. Both of mine are quick off of the mark and pull well. I haven't changed any boost settings. Fix that before you try and boost your way around a much larger problem.

(Of course, i'll be carrying the new glow plug... so as soon as I get a 'bang' I will pull over and investigate/install the new glow plug/go get a pint and celebrate not paying for a head rebuild. And order a full roll cage for the vehicle instead!)

Oh, plus I did also turn the engine over to see if the pressure would make it go flying out. It didn't. I guess it's pretty firmly in there then.

For reference I did it by driving the front end onto ramps, removed roll bar chassis mounts first. Linking bar was a bit more difficult with seized bolts but they came in the end. Swivel bolt can be tapped through as it has a smooth thread partway down it. Now for a test drive
