    L322 Something doesn't seem right

It is there I have seen it, but my question is, why hasn't the garage failed it for the rust, when the MOT is still active on the.GOV website as we speak

    L322 Something doesn't seem right

Has the car is knocking on a bit, this rust didn't appear overnight, so is it part of the MOT or not, we don't have a practising tester on here by any chance.

    L322 Something doesn't seem right

Exactly, but it has never been flagged, looking good again, Kermit

    L322 Something doesn't seem right

Not really, it is behind the trim on the side steps, but the tester would from underneath

    L322 Something doesn't seem right

This is a bit of a saga, which started a few months ago and I might need you guys and your experience with these vehicles that I am not been cynical or just bad luck.. I had a rattle on the N/S/F, but only at around 15 to 25 mph. It is a 2003 Vogue V8 Petrol, the rattle seemed elusive, the...

    Gearbox fault?

I came across this guy some time ago on about batteries, albeit BMW, but I think it applies to all battery applications in relation to most cars, Link :

    L322 It finally happened

Here I was enjoying a nice drive in this great car ( 2003 V8 petrol) it was starting to rain, so put on the rear wiper, it did two strokes then stopped in the middle of the window. I got home and straight on here, for the people out there who can give great advice on these very temperamental...

    Freelander 1 Tyres go where?

I could be wrong here, but if memory serves all tyres are date stamped with the date of manufacture, so it should be easy to spot the newer ones.

AH! all good then, but does it actually start, to spend all that time and effort on a dud is not good.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Well, I did all the checks as well, going down to Stevenage on Monday, 320 miles round trip, she hasn't been driven for the last week, fuel problems. Here in West Yorkshire, things have now gone back to normal, so filled up for the trip, should get there and back on a full tank, can't wait.

Where do you buy your spares??

I have used ebay on occasion, recently I needed some new wheel nuts, to match my refurbed alloys. Having said that, the first bolts didn't fit, or the second. In desperation, I went to Wheel Parts Direct, they didn't fit either, but James, my contact, was determined. I sent photos, he was...

    Buying a Range Rover L322

Very good point rnddave, about save a bit for the inevitable repairs, having said that I have just spent £280 on the alloys having them refurbed, they look spanking, not really required, but I always noticed them, so I had to do it. I didn't realise it was an 11 year old post either, I just made...

    H6CPO strange experience l322

No V5, is a good point, mine didn't have one either, the reasoning was, the auction house had lost it, I didn't believe that, but was assured it was true, even had a form to fill in to apply for a new one, which I did at the Post Office nearby. After having the vehicle for a few months, fixing...
