    Discrete winch mount pillava

That's my thinking. I thought it would have a piece for the winch to sit in like a tray. But this is backwards, on its side and feeding out wrong so not got the confidence in it. The picture on the instructions is how it will mount to the chassis using existing bumper bolts. Ill get it sent back...

    Discrete winch mount pillava

It's a warn m8000. Only minor things. Maybe myself if I get stuck every now and again but mostly for pulling trees over which doesn't require too much force.

    Discrete winch mount pillava

So I've got myself a winch and discrete mount. Seems fairly straight forward to fit the mount to the front and winch to the mount. But I can't figure something out. The winch mounts to the front of the mount with the plate of the mount facing forwards. The hole for the rope is at the bottom. But...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Washed it! Don't worry didn't use a sponge or none of that crap, just TFR and a Pressure washer. And a fork lift for washing underneath! Dug out plenty mud and found only the minorest of surface rust on some little parts of the chassis and elsewhere. Wire brushed it where it had some old...

    Reasonable for labour charge?

Yeah sure. The two different parts of my posts were two different places. The first garage is still good but as I've got my green oval I use this other place plus they are closer!

    Reasonable for labour charge?

my last car was a citroen c1 and i paid £120 for a service and that included changing brake discs and pads, parts included! was surprised at that one! I went a local guy who does mechanics but fabricates stuff too, does all the farmers repairs in the area, that sort of chap, some top notch...

Lift pump? A mates chipper has these symptoms. Will be absolutely fine then almost stalls then picks back up and is great again.

What have you done to your Landie today.

Changed gearbox oil so see if it would sort out the gear stick feeling like I'm stirring thick treacle when it's warm, it's better but not completely cured. Idk what it is. Found a leak or two while underneath too! Leaky diff, any ideas if this is a simple fix or a sign that a big jobs needs...
