Hi Gratch Yep search tool is great 90's vintage Disco, older series, P38 and 90's vintage range rover, No defender of the1986 vintage. I know P38's are metric 10mm x 1.0 pitch but are the 1980's defenders 3/16 unf or did they changee to Metric?

Hi, I would test the in tank pump next - It usually causes starting problems with less than 1/4 tank if knackered - but it could do with being tested anyway - use the search to find the thread for testing the pump without dropping the tank.
