    Any from a tdi or 19j which would be the best option Tee oil feed from oil pressure switch and weld oil return in to the sump I would not run any more pressure than 4 psi to start with,19j I think was about 6 psi but the compression was lower

    Hi It's very simple,this is what I did Remove front wings,bonnet,radiator panel,exhaust and transmission tunnel Cut off the engine chassis mounts,fit engine and weld on mounting brackets Turbo and down pipe on with home made side pipe Cut off radiator front panel radiator mounting cowling...

    I replaced all the mounts with round ones on my 88 But I used old ford engine mounts which were made from softer rubber than Land Rover mounts Made a massive difference,no more vibrating bulkhead

    I agree it's not about maximum speed but more about keeping normal road speeds and not having to go up hills at 35 mph

    Can't say I've noticed it's any worse Defo has a lot more torque I have a 300tdi in a 109 but I prefer driving my 21/4

    235 85 16 255 85 16 will lose some steering lock and may rub on full articulation

    My series was very slow and the gearing didn't help, So I fitted 7.50 tyres and Range Rover diff's That sorted the gearing and as for more power I removed the injector pump to access the fuel setting which I increased half way between the maximum fuel setting and where the the pump was already...
