Range Rover l322 4.2sc or RR Sport sc /4.4

As above the l322 is a lovely car but if you cannot fix it yourself it will be very expensive. I do all my own repairs. Last year was I think £1500 for parts although there is a everything oil change and a tow bar in that. This year is £1000 In parts so far but I will need tracking and tyres...

L322 Air Suspension conversion to Springs

Well today I fitted the arnott spring kit and a new set of Monroe rear shocks. The ride quality is the same if not better and the handling is significantly better possibly due to the rear shocks. I will look in to sorting the dash error tomorrow. My kit came with a box to go behind the clock.

    Diagnostics,

That's odd, my one is supposed to be a nt530 but I can't see it written anywhere on it. It sometimes lets you see errors but can't delete them. Sometimes it won't work at all on the D2. It does always work on the l322.

Disco 2 2" lift and drop links

I'm in the process of changing the chassis on my D2. The air bags look a bit perished, rear shocks are warn and the height sensors are very rotten and manky. I'm going to go over to coils. The front looks to be tired too so I need 4 springs and shocks. I'm thinking I may as well lift it 2 inch if...

L322 Air Suspension conversion to Springs

I would love a Toyota land cruiser but the 90s ones are £10,000 for an old rotter and 2000-2005 are more like £15,000 and they have air

L322 Air Suspension conversion to Springs

Ok then, let me put your IQ to the test. Why does my l322 jack itself up to the max , topping out the suspension when I put a trailer on? This morning it was fine with the trailer but the nose weight was a little light, this causes bad handling, a bit fish tail like. So this afternoon I put a...

Disco 2 Chassis and suspension bolts

I'm hoping to get a galv chassis for my disco. I've made a start removing bits and it looks like I'm going to need some bolts. Does anyone sell kits for the bolts and who has the best range. So far I'm going to need towbar bolts and trailing arm bolts.

Disco 2 Td5 slow to change gear

Yes it's a auto box but no I did not change the filter as I was planning on doing a second oil change.

Disco 2 Td5 slow to change gear

I'm about to take my disco off the road for a overhaul. The chassis is the main issue but also the gearbox is not quite right and there is a lot of slop in the drive train somewhere. There is no creeping forward in drive and it's reluctant to change up. Does it need sending off for rebuild or...

Disco 2 Some chassis swap questions

I don't know if you are aware but Richards chassis offer 0% finance for up to a year with 25% deposit. I will most likely be going that route myself. I think lead times are 3 months at the moment.

    Immobilisor problems, fob not working

Cool I wonder if a Hawkeye will do it? I dislike alarm/ immobilizers, ten years ago it was easy to remove the gubbins and a new key cost £10! A new key for my white elephant l322 is over £300.

    Immobilisor problems, fob not working

I did not realize you could disable the immobilizer. My one wouldn't start the other day and I would gladly disable the immobilizer so long as it doesn't randomly turn back on. How did you do it? I assume via a diagnostic?
