Just ordered some gaiters from a well known trim supplier - been told there is a 4 to 6 week wait after I placed the order!

Didn't bother with any special re-finishing - just polished all the scratches out!

And in a similar vein, just replace the bulbs in the Climate Control panel... can now see what's happening in the dark....

Spent a very satisfying couple of hours using a bodywork scratch removal kit on the centre console wood trim varnish, totally removed the "haze" of umpteen scratches from keys, pens etc. so now you can actually see the wood and not just the scratches. Not vital, doesn't go any faster, still...

OK, so not strictly a major problem, but I want to refinish the wood trim around the gear leaver and window switches. Anyone know how this is held in place? Are there any hidden fixings? Many thanks,

You could try this, it’s retated to sunroof repair, but covers the headlining removal. I used it when I removed mine and fixed leaks and recovered the headlining. Can’t take any credit for the authorship.

Child locks on and leave the windows down an inch or so?

Had rad replaced, solving leak on return pipe, heater not gurgling any more, flow restored, full pressure test on system plus chemical test.... Head Gasket intact..... Auto box oil change completed with filter swap. Breather pipes re-fixed Tracking done

Fix ACE for on-road use.... for a +20 year old design, it’s truly fantastic. Also call Mike at Dynachip.... not just more power, but no more rattle and clatter during delivery.
