    Disco 2 Tyres - 18" - Recommendations? - Mostly On-Road

    Disco 2 Steering box replacement

Only advice I can offer was when mine let go in a similar style, I had a LR specialist replace it (not as confident DIY back then) I had a couple of options, but took one with a 2 year warranty. I think it was “remanufactured”. 18 months later when that one went, my specialist covered the...

Disco 2 Wood Trim Removal - Advice

5 mins to remove it. 10 mins to stem the blood 2 hours of quality time polishing it whilst watching telly 5 mins to replace it. A lifetime of driving thinking “that’s better”

Disco 2 Wood Trim Removal - Advice

Not really a priority for me either, but makes such a difference to the interior. Also does not involve ramps, diagnostics or extensive tool selections. Mine is an auto, and D2 F/L - not sure if it's any different to yours. Mine was held in by the transfer box and auto box gaiters and trim...

Other what have u done on ur disco today

Spent a very satisfying couple of hours using a bodywork scratch removal kit on the centre console wood trim varnish, totally removed the "haze" of umpteen scratches from keys, pens etc. so now you can actually see the wood and not just the scratches. Not vital, doesn't go any faster, still...

Disco 2 Wood Trim Removal - Advice

OK, so not strictly a major problem, but I want to refinish the wood trim around the gear leaver and window switches. Anyone know how this is held in place? Are there any hidden fixings? Many thanks,

    Disco 2 Headliner removal Video

You could try this, it’s retated to sunroof repair, but covers the headlining removal. I used it when I removed mine and fixed leaks and recovered the headlining. Can’t take any credit for the authorship.

Disco 2 ACE Pressure Transducer - Replacement Question

So, as I often read these threads and feel cheated when there is no “conclusion”... I thought I’d just say thank you to all the above forum members, and after the purchase of a 27mm deep socket, some ingenious application of wobble bars, extensions and joints, the old transducer was removed...

@HasisD - it’s lovely when things make a difference isn’t it? Interesting re the tramlining on the motorway / A-Road ruts.... I have some “lively” moments in mine when it appears to take its own path of travel, especially when pulling into the overtaking lane and then back. I’ve got the...
