Ok, I've got as mate on his way with a jump lead to act as an earth strap. Then I'll try the ignition again (with test too)

I got almost nothing, 0.5v I'm charging the new battery which is at 13.1v at the minute, so I'll whip it off charge and back into the car and double check it!

Here is the lid and hopefully the fuses too

How can I test it? How can I find out what the fuseboard in the engine bay does~ the lid shows a vague idea, but a wiring diagram would be great. Cant find anything online~ you mentioned RAVE before, where can I get it?

Yeah I understand that, I just had to make sure it worked before putting it back on, otherwise i would have ordered a new starter motor. There doesn't seem to be any real power going to it from the switch live, I assume there Sims a faulty relay ~ I just don't know where.

Yeah but I have been charging the old battery, I will swap it over when it's done. It was just to show how much the battery drops (or didnt) when I try and turn over

Yeah, that's why I replaced it originally. I will pop it on charge and see if that does the trick. I've been charging the new one in between attempts at turning it over

And I have haven't tried recharging it yet either

Yeah fair comment, I will test later and post pics of results. I have the old battery, I could charge that and swap it to test (I've been using the old battery to bench test the starter)

It's a brand new battery, It's a brand new battery, Hankook MF60038 Car Battery I trust the DVM

So it starts with 14v, but after 3 attempts it drops to 12.4v
