it's on Gumtree now, just posted but no pics. It's a lovely car apart from the rear chassis runs smooth no bangs or clunks from gear box and strats instantly on the key. no body rot at all.

yes, rotten around the body, airbag and shock mounts both sides. The guy who did my welding last year deals only with landrovers and he said he would scrap it as it will need the fuel tank out and all sorts of new chassis parts to fit.

Just had the MOT center in touch with me. Sad day as i have to let my d2 td5 2004 go to landrover heaven as the rear chassis is beyond repair. The guy who welded it last year said hed have it for £450 but doesnt realy want it as he already has 3 in his field, goin to take the £450 i think...

Says that Waxoyl is water repelant (forces moisture out) and stops old rust and prevents new, It's the one in the yellow can! Also not had any rain here in Hull for several weeks so chassis/rear arches are bone dry inside and out (chassis) Andy Hull

I (Last week) fitted new boot door lock actuator, Torx screws were supeer tight. Also power washed the rear arches ready for Waxoyling. Andy Hull

Tried to replace my disks and pads yesterday, Couldnt loosen the caliper bolts to get the disk out, sending it to garage as they are seized so not such an easy job!!! Andy

Hi Bud, It doesn't move to be honest, stays the same height all the time. If i pump it up it goes up and then settles back to the same height every time so not sure if it's the camera angle? Have noticed though that when i stop and put the hand brake on that i can rock the car back and forth...

Morning all, Does it matter what oil quality goes in a Td5 engine? What i mean is, is it ok to put Asda or Wilkinsons fully synthetic oil in or is it better to put Castrol or Mobil in? And what's the difference? Thanks in advance guys Andy
