Sorry to highjack some else's thread but how easy is it to get a hold of the EKA code ,after reading this post I think it might be a handy thing to have ?.

Right folks I took the speedo out this morning cleaned the multi plug put it back in pushed the wires to make sure they are home and the display is now working,if it stop's I will let you know RESULT thanks.

I do try to reset them sometimes I get 65mpg and 650 range but now its reading 99mpg and 999 range if only .I had the speedo out about 4 months ago when I did the blend motors .I will take the speedo out and check the plugs in the back just in case its something I did but it was working just...

Does any one have an idea why my display for mpg reads 99.9 and the range reads 999 .It was working I don't know when it stopped as I don't like to look ,all the over values ie average speed and trip seem to work ok .

Don't think I will bother with the vents,it was just a thought .

Perhaps I wont bother then ,the car went really well it surprised a lot of people. The temp gauge was always just below mid way.

I am not very supple at all ,after hanging upside down over the drivers seat I said feck it .Must admit it was a bit worrying as all the bits came out but the guide is very good shows every nut and bolt clip and spring ect.

Thanks for the replies I was thinking the Landrover ones have lasted over 15 years so they cant be that bad .I think I will remove the arms ect take them into Mark at Gratech and get him to supply and press the new ones in .

Fix it .The blend motors are not that hard to replace there is a guide on the web that shows how to do the job. Took me a day to remove the dash change the motors and replace the dash taking it slow and easy.

Could I have peoples opinion's on Polybush's please ,I would like to change the rubber bush's on the front and rear axle on my p38 . No real problems but as I reckon they are the original its about time for a change so should I put back Polybush or Landrover parts .
