Good for you keep up the good work ,I think GLASS is needed and I know its run by volunteers quite a few of them I know and have been laning with and they do give their time for free so I won't knock the reps and the like they have helped me out on many occasions .

To be honest Paul I just gave up with GLASS I have been a member for many years ,I thought it was the right thing to do BUT never really got any thing out of it and when my membership card did not turn up and I was told you can't have one we have no way to issue a new one "but you don't need one...

I wish you luck with Trailwise ,I have been a member of GLASS for years never been able to use it .Could not even get a membership card off of them last year it was lost in the post and there is no way to replace it .Wont be joining again ,if you look on Facebook there is a Yorkshire green...

Well thanks for looking ,I did'nt know there was a Nanocom shop .Learning all the time .

I am not sure if I should be asking this question on here but here goes anyway .Is the Nanocom suitable for use on the Freelander 1 ,as the wife has taken a fancy to the Freelander I have a p38 and I wondered if it would work on both cars ?.

Do you still have the P 38 EAS compressor for sale ?.

The oil is fine I change it at about 3000 miles I use a good mineral oil and a landrover filter because a lot of the time we only make short journey's ,although we did drive from Essex to Newcastle and back the other day and the car drove spot on.So thanks again you folks have just saved me a job .

Any recommendations as to a make Wammers ,to be honest the car runs fine Jackie ( my wife ) cannot understand why I want to change the cam .I get a bit paranoid about the car, I read all these horror stories on here and I am waiting for the bang like the other week I went out to start it...

I would like to change the camshaft ,chain and followers on my 1999 thor engined p38 its done 125,000 miles and I guess a change is in order .I have had a look around the forum but am still unsure as to which cam to fit can any one that has changed a cam on this model make a recommendation...

When I bought my p38 it came with 4 new Britpart shocks and steering damper ,well I am not a fan of Britpart but they was there so I put them on. That was a year ago I have done a few thousand miles on road and a few hundred on green lanes and much to my amazement they have been great .

Right just been out to the car put the key in and started the engine 35 seconds later the TC light went out so hopefully I have been worrying needlessly THANKS folks ,I think that Wammers is beginning to get the hang of these motors .

Thanks domino now you mention it I can remember the same thing happening to the ABS light on my old Discovery 1.

I have'nt looked into that to be honest I will start the car tomorrow evening and see how long the pump runs for but I do know that the ABS light goes out after a few minutes when I start up maybe 3 or 4 .Thanks for the reply.
