L322 Water Leak Call to Action?

Sadly, my butler is out of the country sourcing heating for the winter. There, there, I have learned my lesson  more regret that I need at the moment...

L322 Water Leak Call to Action?

Greetings compadres, I had a great day on Saturday taking it through ruts, puddles, mud and rolling hills. So it was nice and dirty and needed a wash. I went to a recommend automatic car wash afterwards (as a top up after pressure jetting it myself). It was a more powerful car wash than usual...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Yesterday went to the LRR festival near by. Lovely weather, some lovely examples, no luck with parts, but got a replacement torque wrench (one broke the day before, so it was meant to). Pub after. Since it was a nice day, went around Salisbury planes. Washed it today. Will need another wash, it...

    P38 V8 Green laning Advice

XD I do, and that it is has GL. But I qualify it ( +2 them) as military grounds which civilians are allowed to use, rather than GL :D Thank you for your advice. Will note to be more vigilant. I do try to stay away from mud pools. I tend to stay away from such. Went there yesterday, was very...

P38A Sanity Check, are the Rover V8s any good??

Already rich thread. skipped some posts. Have a close relative that had one (1998 reg) with LPG conversion. I can check exact details if need to, it had between 100 and 200k miles on the clock, with history, well taken care of. Ended up rebuilding the engine. I am not sure if that was due to...

    P38 V8 Green laning Advice

Thank you. That is my experience, hence car full of stripes. Thinking to nickname the car Tiger due to the scratched lines... tbh Defender would get scratched as well. If they are wide, they tend to be gravel roads, i.e. nothing that normal car cannot do. I did find a couple of nice lanes. Yeah...

    P38 V8 Green laning Advice

Yes @Grrrrrr & yes @Datatek , my thoughts exactly at the time. I even started to take some hedge trimmers and took an axe as at some point there was a fallen tree blocking the path, just about managed to pass... I think this year was the first and last year I tried GL in England, will do either...

Nothing like rolling (so far...), but had my pleasant/unpleasant experience of narrow English lanes

    L322 wet door lining

Hi, Old post, I know, but I have same issue with my rear driver side. Did you have yours sorted in the end? Searching on the net, watching this video (from min 7) is my suspicion my case as the door panel does not sit flush. What was your reason? What is the treatment for the little rust...

Sorry to crash and point me to where this may have been already covered - what about L322? Any wading engine and diffs considerations? Thank you.

Drove for a brunch at a cafe, topped up the LPG, wheel alignment and pulled the trigger and purchased the DII diagnostic tool. Should arrive next Friday, so I know what I am doing next weekend...

    L322 Fuses Schematics

Finally had some time today with a mechanic who had a diagnostic tool and access to some official fuse schematics from JLR. At the end it was the alternator fuse. The fun was that we worked from 3 different fuse schematics and in some cases they matched, in some 2 vs 1 and in some all had...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I can see a lot of work was done over the weekend ;) To mix it up, I managed to take mine first time to Salisbury (first time for me and the Rangie). Loved it, now looking at it out of the window, nice and dusty. Better wash it asap before dust becomes a permanent feature. Hmmm, nothing wrong...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Changed A/C condenser today. Would have been a 2 hour job if not the corroded pins between the tubes and the condenser itself... so it was 4 hours. To give myself more space to pry them apart I just cut off the condenser off and the tubes had more wiggle on them to get knocking. Would...

    L322 Fuses Schematics

I am actually puzzled by my car now, it is seems a bit of an odd one - cannot find relatable fuse schematics :D I did have a look and it seems to have the wiring. As well, I noticed some crack in the fan basin that I did not notice before. Since it will go off next week, will find out more.

    L322 Fuses Schematics

Thank you! In the last diagram, the last page that has the rear fuse box, mine has different design/layout (mine has an additional small row for smaller fuses above to left of the R1 big fuse, the lighter fuses sit there). I will have a look later on the front one layout and see how it differs...
