Ah, I understood that it needs to heat up to in order to check. My bad. Have not thought of heating the wheel with the hair dryer before driving, that is the fix!:D

I saw this one, but I do not have a heat gun etc. Wondered if one can check the ECU itself without going through testing the wheel itself. If not, then I will use old hair drier on the wheel :oops:

Pressing the heating button, it switches on for a split second and then switches off.

Old post, old problem. I have been looking around and there seems to be three main culprits: 1. Steering wheel itself 2. Fuse 3. The steering wheel ECU. I am asking as I am having this problem now myself. And no, like Matt, I want items to work, so no gloves comments. What I am not clear is...

As well, every area/county has a Glass rep. Has he gotten in touch with his? they usually tend to do days out and can put in touch with people that do go out.

Family relative had trouble with the engine, having to rebuild it. And similar feedback from previous online research.

Defiantly stay away from P38 Petrol V8s

Last week commuted to work in the capital because of ULEZ (refuse to pay the tax since they told us to get diesels in the first place). City is a natural habitat for it, so nicer to drive in that traffic. And then took it to the land rover show at the weekend and through the off road course...

My research is the same what members have said above. From experience, I have the 2006 V8, not supercharged, LPG, so far no problems. I have not had it for long, thought. It has no problem off roading, just ticks along, and it has enough for the road. Did not go SC as it is not friendly with LPG...

Doubt that, but I am not going there and do not recommend to anybody...

Fixed rear parking sensors. Something that was quoted £700 at a garage cost me 25 quid for sensors and 45 minutes of my time... Stupid world :confused: Will settle for the black screen for the rear camera image. 1 more off the list to fix, what'ts next...

I have a 2006 one, so not that late. Looked at one I have and there seems to be nothing there... Looks like an exploration for me. Need to figure out best way to get under the carpet first :oops:

Greetings. I hope all is well. I saw one of your earlier posts about your leak issue. I just had a recent leak through the B pillars and some speakers went dead after bad electric smell. For your leak, did you lift the carpet up to check damage/ water collection points? Thank you.

Struggling to find diagrams of what lies under the saloon carpet. Anybody has anything? (I do understand that each RR can be different :) )

The spare wheel place - one sachet will do. Under the carpet in the saloon - no idea... need to check how to pull it apart:rolleyes:

You are right, had a further research and the are 2 more at the back. They go to the rear wheel arches. Not sure how to get to them from the top, only seen from the bottom... Checked the spear wheel, no more than usual amount of water i.e. just little condensation from LPG. Cheers.
