Enjoy both the fishing and the large one. The salmon season starts in this area on the 11th of Feb for me. ( not visiting the dee which starts on the 1st of Feb) Roll on the 11th on the Deveron..

I am going to Helmsdale in Sutherland on the 10th of Jan as me and mate do every year for the start of the salmon fishing season. The weather is usually rotten but it is a fantastic part of this great country.

I really cant see the point of driving through flood water for the hell of it. But each to their own if thats what floats your boat enjoy!!

Christmas cards and tinsel will be cheap everywhere after next Tuesday...

Why!!! If everyone stopped supporting all these charity funded emergency services the goverment would have to something about it. People climb mountains because they want to for fun, People go to sea to earn a living and should have a state funded emergency service... RANT OVER IF YOU DONT...
