    Pressure under oil cap

I’m having this and have been worried given it got worse with the vortex added. I’ll write it off my worries and focus on the more pressing issues (cracked rocker cover for one).

    Freelander 1 Fixer upper

Hi all, back to FL ownership following a long gap- 7 years to be exact (I was a RR owner for a while :D). Anyway, found myself a dodgy bound for scrap td4 (05) with 182k that ran and had an mot so figured for the price (200 squid) it was a steal. The issue stated was injector buggered, and no...

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

Glad it helped! Sometimes these things can be a nightmare, think we overthink them :)

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

Think that's just the lighting, no hole in it/it's coming out all around rather than from one spot. The clip was swung on to tighten so I don't think it's loose, but a bearing/drive shaft would explain the squeeling I'm having

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

Grease coming out of the hub  bugger yet again

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

Well I delayed running it until a new hub nut came, and then the weather made me ignore it until last week. Been running it the last couple of days and besides the squeeling after being parked up (I bought replacement pads/disks as I saw they were a bit worse for wear) it's been alright. I might...

    Who stole my engine?

The two plugs are for an additional cooler for warmer climates- if it's not there you don't need it is the impression I get. The plate on the jubilee clip is a poorly executed egr delete. Not sure in the missing pipe...

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

That'd be why it won't come out with an impact or my biggest hammer then :D It won't spin at all so my thought is to drill it out at the point where I find myself needing the hub off. It's a to do job once I get a proper drive as I hate jacking it on my current mess  need to get it on...

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

Oh I tried, think if I'd belted it anymore I'd have needed a new one (and I wanted to get it finished :D:D)

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

Was done by previous owners garage- they didn't tighten it properly so it spat grease everywhere and seized my brakes on. Starting to think everything he did is going to need redoing

    Not bad for a fiver

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

Job done :D now does anyone know why the lower bolt wouldn't come out on the hub? I also refurbed my key while I was at it- shiny new rubber and my buttons take no forcing to work :D time for a beer!

So... 36mm for the hub nut?

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

It's not even my Suzuki it's the bosses  but it's definitely popped out and won't go back in no matter what I try (and now it's raining). Had to abandon ship for today, need to come up with a plan that doesn't involve taking the hub off :D:D:D It's now stuck on my drive low down so no...

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

You were right, it wasn't sorted at all. Looks like the inner has come out

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

I hope so :D the boss decided to drop a grand on a 20 year old grand Vitara because it was "cute", just a shame it was 70 miles away and she found it was needing some "love" on way home

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

Whatever the bloody hell it was, I'm glad it's decided to fix itself as I was about to reach for the matches :D just need my ramps to turn up to finish some bits then it'll be back on the road- which I'm bloody excited about! Almost all the minor fixes done- so I can start on her new project...

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

Well that was a bloody weird one. And I either understand what happened, or am racking my brain trying to make sense of it. So- it's working again, and here's what I did: - jacked up each wheel at a time to check the axles as you said- both engaged and working fine, but I noticed a slight wheel...

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

I'll give it a whirl- I'm gonna stick it up in raised and try go forward/back a couple times see if it seats anything as I'll have to pull it forward anyway to get it up on jack's (wonky driveway).

    L322 Bugger- no drive!

All I can think is the drive shaft is too far in and causing interference, but I don't for the life of me know how. As if it was too far out, going into raised would pop it off (?) Visually it looks fine, bar the wheels being a touch out of line tracking wise. Maybe boots off and nosey, but...
