    New Owner EAS fault

Pardon my ignorance but when you say tighten them do you mean squeezing the connectors to ensure a tight fit?

    Couple of quick questions

I read that thread as you suggested and I think I will swap the driver pack to see if the fault i mentioned ever returns, and while there have a look at the connectors as suggested, cheers.

    Couple of quick questions

What you said there about it flashing briefly before rising, thats exactly what it does. I'm guessing it's either supposed to do that or it's electrical as if I press the inhibit switch it will stay where it should be indefinately.

    Couple of quick questions

I didn't want to start a whole new thread for one question, is it normal for the car to sometimes lower to access height when switched off unless the inhibit switch is pressed? There aren't any leaks anywhere, the compressor is good, the overheat switch is good and so is the pressure switch, the...

    Couple of quick questions

    Random starting issue

Hello all, some time ago I accidentally positively charged my engine ecu which resulting in the car not starting, this issue was resolved by earthing the ecu to the body. Now, quite randomly, the car just refused to start, no ignition, nothing, now I changed the fob batteries thinking it could...

Windows close when locked, not lazy locking.

I see, I agree with the superlock thing, I only wanted to do it to find out whic key I have by doin the seat position trick but then it doesn't really matter anyway. Could it be that the fob is knackered as it is pretty beaten up, cheers.

Windows close when locked, not lazy locking.

Update: I replaced the driver's latch and there is now no mysterious window closing or flashing indicators happily, however the car still will not superlock and I get the 'key battery low' message daily, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Windows close when locked, not lazy locking.

Ok so I removed th becm and cleaned all connections, they all looked ok however the carpet in the drivers footwell was soaking, I reckon from when either the matrix o rings had gone or the pollen filter covers were leaking and it just hasn't dried out yet because there doesn seem to be any fresh...

Windows close when locked, not lazy locking.

Thanks for the input, I will now: 1. Dehumidify 2. Clean the becm connections, i take it i can just disconnect the battery and then remove it? 3. Get the A/C regassed so that it works. The drivers latch is knackered, could this contribute? Cheers.
