Oh yes...a scoop...I made one many years ago...useless...would need to stick out around 10ins to get into the airstream...thats the prob the heaters air intake is in the wrong place....mine is routed to the front grill on the pass side goes between the rad and inner wing and is in the airflow...

The p[rob with the S3...is the air intake on the side of the wing...once your going faster than 10mph...the wind rushes past that the fan struggles to draw air is....think its caused by a low pressure area close to the body. My mod really does work....blasts air through that matrix. Nick.

Honest guys...no need to mod the heater box....it just needs more air flowing thought it to carry the heat thats already there into the cab...the cooling sys need to be working ok and the engine getting upto temp of course. Nick.

I considered this route also...I kept the shoes from when my landrover was new in 1975.

I also tried mintex...had to take them back.

I think the dia of the shoes and drums don't match. When I sort of got mine working...and had a look at the shoes to see where they were contacting the shoes...it was in a small area at the piston ends of the shoes....would have taken forever to bed in...if at all. To make the shoe sit a tad...

How do you fasten them down for high winds. If you get one please report back.

If you put it off the road for any time and the taxs run out...you still need to sorn it...mad isnt it.
