Hi i have an adjustable tow bar on my discovery td5 that i recently purchased abd wanted some advice as to wether its suitable for towing a caravan? the pin is worn on it so theres loads of play in it the same as a defender one that i had.

Is there no way to repair the end or buy a replacement piece rather than having to buy 4pipes?

Thank you yes that looks about right, i take it you cant buy the pipe ends? as thats all thats wrong! one has broken and been caught as i was removing the tank and tray for welding work

Does anyone know what the part no is for disco 2003 td5 black fuel pipe pipe with no colour coding on? it goes from the tank pump to the filter, low pressure i think? if your stood at the back of the vechicle with the inspection cover removed its the far right hand side pipe. Thanks lee

Hi does anyone know a part no for the bolt and screws that hold the headlamps in please? or a suitable bolt that will do the job? and what are the plastic pins called that hold the grille on? anyone any idea. cheers lee

I know what you mean brian, its just teading all the stories of them getting nicked am i better off putting pre facelift headlights in this 03 discovery i have just bought on ebay, because unless there is a sure fire way of securing them there going to get nicked like everyone else's

Hi can anyone tell me if pre facelift headlights and indicators will fit a 03 facelift disco thats had its lights and grille stolen which i have just bought! And was thinking of buying the old style headlamps and indicators and sticking them in? Cheers lee

Can anyone tell me what the metal blocks called with the 2 threaded holes on for the bolts that go through the mounting brackets directly behind the bulkhead, Also i think my rear door is missing something for the stay to attach to it? it was like this when i bought it? cheers lee

Re checked all conections etc the new loom must be faulty as cant see what else it could be

Changed the injector loom today on my td5 defender and when i come to start it, it ran like a bag of bolts when i started it to try it, sounded like it was working on 4 cylinders etc. I was going to change this because the red ecu plug had oil on it. So to cut a long storey short i had to put...
