Taken pipe off this morning that comes from rocker cover, and there is oil in pipe that comes from turbo is this normal?

Cheers rob the fuel pump has been out and cleaned and pressure tested and also tested the flow rate it was spot on! i also changed fuel pressure regulator! just found out today after checking oil after last weeks trip to norfolk that the oil level had dropped and was nearly on min! topped it up...

Yes thats going to be my next step then if nothing shows its looking like a re map! i have a friend who owns one simaler year standard un mapped and it goes like **** off a shovel? i have tried everything with mine fuel pressure, new regulator, pipes off checked all them, removed pipes etc

Not quite as bad but not much better! dissconected maf today and took for a drive and didnt make a difference!

Its manual and lacks top end power! Doesnt like to accelerate much past 2000 revs

It dont have a map and is standard and in my opinion its flat! especially towing, and am only towing half its capacity

Just wondered how other peoples disco's performed when towing a caravan or simaler? I pull a caravan with a weight of 1340kg, up long inclines on motorway its down to 45mph flat out? sometimes dropping to 3rd then back to 4th, my question is am i expecting too much from it or should it do better...

Anyone in clayton bradford with a disco td5 to compare with mine as i am having lack of power issues and tried all sorts of stuff? just thought it would be a good idea thats all if there was someone local with one that runs well.

There are many things explained in this thread your right pal, but most have been tried and tested and the motors not much better!

I would say it does it defo 2thousand revs and above even when you floor it, it dont pick up! its fine on the flat it will quite happyly plod on at 70mph no probs! but it dont pick up on low down revs either

Is it likely to make any difference to the motor by me taking the regulator out and cleaning it out?
