At last found the problem. three liners have slipped causing a right dent in the head gasket Causing a slight crack on one side of the gasket. Can see where the liners have been Hitting the gasket :(. So not going to bother to repair. Also there is a lot of play in the pistons and a lot...
i am a bit confused by the fluid levels, I am presuming when idling after a run, ie hot the level should be on the second higher hole on the dip stick ?
where should it be when not running and cold
on the flat it changes as it should with a little help from lifting pedal a bit, just seems way to much revs compared to my v8, i know its more power in that, just seems like its screaming
Have changed the filter abs fluid. But still just as lazy changing gear. It’s mainly up an incline. Revs to over 2.75 before it changes.

The gears seem very reluctant to change, switch is in normal mode
could it be an idea to change filter and fluid ? would that make a difference
Fluid is unusually clear ??
