    Hi George, welcome to the Zone!! The lift pumps are notorious for appearing to do nothing!! The best way I have found is to fill the filter with diesel then start the engine and the lift pump will pull things through fine. Where abouts are you in West Wales?? I'm just outside Haverfordwest!

    On an auto box, you need to put it into N before sliding the small lever into low ratio, I can't remember if you also need to do that for difflock? I'll check when I go out later

    Thank you for calling the Landyzone get out of the **** with minimal interaction site! Normally its nice to introduce yourself!! Your problem sounds like fuel leaking back or air leaking in, check your fuel lines
