They are worth repairing if you can get them cheap enough, ive just had the rear chassis replaced with a galvanised one cost me £800 i only paid £1100 for it so i thought it was well worth it as everything else is good, now it should be good for many yrs to come, so its worth considering

So my disco is gonna be up for sale as soon as my Td5 is fixed probably in a few weeks time so you have time to come and see it as im no hurry as im still using it. So its a 1995 300tdi auto with 218k on the clock but saying that its the most reliable car ive ever owned it never fails to start...

Mines alot worse than that its going in for a new rear chassis which will be galvanised and hes gonna clean and treat the rest of it and then waxoyl the whole thing, its a big hit at £800 but cheaper than buying another one and it runs great, so i think if everything else is ok its worth doing...

Hi dave its £1500 it wont be any cheaper on ebay if you want to come and leave a deposit ill hold it for you till you return you wont find a better one
