The Nanocom delves deeper into the Land Rover electrical system to correct, analyze and troubleshoot problems. For the Nanocom, you have to purchase unlock codes (and sometimes cabling) for different Land Rover models and engines. My Nanocom is unlocked for Disco 2 Td5 & V8, plus Defender Td5 &...

If you plan on keeping your D2 Td5 the Nanocom is a great asset despite the price and get hold of a pdf D2 RAVE manual.
After a few uses the Nanocom pays for itself as you won’t have to visit an LR garage for troubleshooting every little electrical issue.
Btw… welcome to the forum.
I now have a dead battery and I still can’t open my bonnet to access it.:mad: I had to crawl under her and attach the Ctek MXS 7.0 charger to the starter’s positive connection and to the frame earth for a charge.
So far so good reconditioning the battery. We’ll see what happens tomorrow morning.
They are still in business. I was in contact with their admin office last week swapping over ownership of my 2nd Nanocom. Their email is [email protected] .
Be sure you are using your email to log in and not your user name for their Nanocom forum.
In Norwich, Norfolk there is Calibration Maintenance and Repair. https://www.cmrcalibrate.co.uk/
I've been wanting to take my 560NM torque wrench there to get it cal'd. I was quoted 35 quid + VAT for a cal certificate and results.
@Richarddiscoverytwo
Which engine do you have? I might be selling a Nanocom for a Disco 2 V8. Waiting on a mate to see if his wife will let him buy it for his Td5. Lol
A Td5 engine code can be bought for an extra €62 from the Nanocom website.
I have stock glass headlights so I can’t help with deflector taping bit. But IMO those LED headlights are not a bad price but would be terrible on a D2. Leave ‘em for the Defenders and Jeeps I say. Lol
