    Disco forgetting key/immobiliser

Do you mean after you insert the EKA code the fob starts working then stops after a while or how? describe exactly what's going on

    Radio ignition live

do you know to read electrical wiring diagrams? if yes see the attached diagram and you should see what to do, from F26 the feed goes to the aux relay... if not check if you have voltage on the light green/white wire(C0028 pin 3, attached), if yes and no voltage on F26 the problem is within...

    D2 TD5 Car won't start: Warning lights on:Downhill & ride yellows + 2 x flashing green

The gist is that "crossed B" on the odometer which was discussed to death on this forum depends on your luck to be the IDM or BCU: https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/discovery-2-b-symbol-near-odometer.367691/post-5080292

    D2 towbar electrics

The WG wire has nothing to do with the red light, the warning light works with the NY wire the way you explained just that it has power through the IP from F27. The WG wire is from F24 as i explained before, the so called "exciter wire".

WASH WIPE RELAYS ETC - WHERE ARE THEY??

The big square FW5 is the "relay"(wiper control unit) and everything within the square(FW6 to 14) are integrated parts of it, it looks like a relay just a bit bigger, google out LR057366 to see how it looks maybe you find it then cos i dont know where it is on the early D1s like your's

    D2 towbar electrics

NO, WG is ignition 2 live coming from fuse F24, it has power even without engine running

    Radio ignition live

The power to the coil comes from F26 interior fusebox so troubleshooting is needed cos with this symptom the interior fusebox can be suspect as well

    Radio ignition live

I dont really understand what you mean... the aux relay gets power on one contact terminal from FL7 then when it closes the power is sent to the related auxiliary circuits, i cropped the relevant part of the diagram, if you can't work with that better find somebody who is skilled with electrics

    Defender TD5 - crank bit won’t start

But can you confirm that no fault codes were logged? In such intermittent behaviours the engine harness is a quite common issue for Td5s regardless if its D2 of Defender, i've seen this kind of fault not once but there were injector related fault codes present every time, see this...

Depends how much you know about the D2's electrics but based on how you approached this issue i have the feeling that it's above your skills, no offence ... you can piggiback F7 for troubeshooting purpuse but this kind of bodge doesnt solve the problem

    Radio ignition live

If no power on FL7 but the vehicle is running you should replace that fusebox cos it's very suspect unless maxi FL1 is not shot or has bad contact but then many important things would not work on that vehicle

    Radio ignition live

You should have said the complete story from the beginning, the wipers are also through the aux relay and the relay gets feed from fusible link FL7 so check these

    Radio ignition live

R7 but this one feeds many circuits not just the radio... why? you dont have power on F16?

    D2 towbar electrics

OK... it was a misunderstanding in terms then cos you said "socket" first and for me socket doesnt mean connector or multiplug when referring to circuits
  18. sierrafery

    D2 towbar electrics

Maybe if the PO modified it to be permannent, there is no permannent live socket in the D2 from factory, all are through the aux circuits relay... al least on mine

    Discovery 1 MAF 14 CUX

Isn't by any chance the same type sensor fitted for ECT and FT too? if they are the same swap them and see the readings then cos that -16 reading is very suspect as i dont see how the ECU's ADC would calculate such negative value... i dont know how this 14cux fuel map's configuration is but...

    More Amigo Fun

You do so much overthinking about ECUs that i lost all the logic... i reiterate as shortly as possible: a faultless SLABS ECU should log a fault code once it triggered the 3 amigos regardless of it's part number, the ECU's supersession in time was to improve the vehicle's behaviour especially...
