    Nope. Its my sons. hes had it years. but it failed its test and I volunteered to fix it. he normally does though. Actually I found it fairly simple to work on with some good touches, like the rear upper arms, just lift out with the grooves cut out for the bolts.. Many Thanks steveeasy

    Ok, did the rear hub bearings first. car drove fine no codes. then did nr side lower arm. did it while on jack. replaced driveshaft as I hit the old one. ive also replaced the sensor. now at 30mph HDC and steering sensor and some control box. Steveeasy

    Hi, The Harmonic Pulley has given up and I need to change it. Best method for holding it so I can undo the nut. I suspect there might be a crankshaft locking tool out there and ive seen a tool that bolts to the pulley. Any suggestions on which is easiest. Thanks in advance Steveeasy

    ok looking for a Gearbox for above. Does anyone know if the ratios for R380 boxes change or is it just the transfer box that determines this ?. Also does the surrfix number change the type of box. Trying to find something that is suitable. Thanks Steveeasy

    Brown, Thanks for the above. took the gearbox out today, I expected to find a loose input shaft but not too much play at all. So think ill just get a recon box. found lots of sealant between gearbox and transfer box. Not sure if anything should be between them. Steveeasy

    Its leaking from the top of the transfer box. not the gearbox. have a hydraulic pump fitted to transfer box and the vehicle is left running a lot. definatly not gearbox leaking but im going to check the level on this today. Drain then refil with the correct amount i believe 2.3 ltrs . Steveeasy
