@Alibro, I'm not meaning to belittle Nodge's suggestion, but looking at that sensor kit, it's "probe" is little more than two pin male dupont connector, typically used in Arduino and other hobby electronics, when the leaking water hits and links the two pins, it creates the circuit and triggers...
