Ok That's my assembly arrived, I now understand why if some parts are replaced with bushes they fail quickly, reason they are NOT bushes, these two outer PARTS are basically more like universal swivels, (possibly a ball) there is NO movement detectable either up or down, or back or forward, but...

Question, nearside mirror defrosts, and rear screen defrosts, are their separate fuses for each mirror, oh and is it a temperature activated mirror heater OR do they come on with rear screen heater, thanks Ian

Been clunking for years, suppose I really should tackle replacing the worn linkage, is there a kit, or is it not that simple, the wipers touch the rubber and can be moved up an inch or two when stationary, any pointers.

Suppose its only right that I should mention all is good with the hub, really just need to take a note of the mileage and see how much I get out of it, done the usual stuff while it was apart, disc cover cleaned, primed and painted, lip on disc ground off ready for new pads in a few months time...
