    This is a great write up of your project. Really enjoy reading it. If it makes you feel any better, I had allowed £1k per month to rebuild my series 3. The first 6 weeks saw £7.5k leaving my bank account.

    Fine for an experienced professional fabricator to repair, then galvanise. For me, I'll order a new one! By the time I buy a welder and perfect using it, I could have bought a new one:)
