pop the headlight out on the nearside, you'll see the release cable at the top of it's socket, attack from there. headlights should just pop out of their little eyeball clamps.

What were your exact symptoms for this fault? I have a fuel guage that dont read correctly, i have also changed the pump unit and it's been the same for both pumps..

Remember to scribe nice clear lines on the UJ's and the splines when you plan to pull it apart. so it can all go back together the same way. GKN: TVC100010 is the UJ part number (I got one right here on my desk!) a large vice, a few pound coins and some circlip pliers and they're easy enough...

I wanted a subtle winch setup on my 300. This is a Superwinch EP9 mounted in a guardian bumper. it's so close coupled that the winch is entirley behind the grille and the bumper is closer than the original LR one.

whats the history of your 'new' motor? if it's ever done any deep wading without the front timing cover wading plug, then the belt will have a significantly decreased service life!

Just the fact that you've actually offered grease into the prop is more than most people do...! Hopefully the new grease has forced out the old grease and any grit or particles with it. But there is only one way to be sure and that is to do it on the bench like MHM said.
