I'm assuming it was causing a "physical" stop/restriction to the throttle

Peculiar cure to this issue, EGR deleted over 10 years ago, we disconnected the TPS (throttle position sensor) plug from FIP and now getting 1 bar ????

Have to give a shout out for excellent service Turbo rebuilds LTD, unsure if my new hybrid unit was working correctly (under 1 bar boost) returned it to the supplier (8 months after purchase but only fitted 1 week) who checked and rebuilt it with no faults found and returned at no extra cost to...
