    Slave cylinder troubles!

I did mine before using one of those kits you fit to the fluid reservoir and use tyre pressure to force fluid through, but found out neither of the two caps supplied fitted. I got one from a breaker and bonded the pipe to the cap after drilling a hole. I then used suction bleeder on the slave...

    Disco 2 Trim part number

That's the part sierraferry. I`m sure the one I ordered before, is the one gstuart listed as it`s too big for the hole. Think I saw that part you listed for front grills etc. I`ll order some up & report back once I have them. Thanks, EDIT: These fit the fuel pump access panel holes perfectly...

Disco 2 fuel leak above real axile

Mine had a leak in the same are & it is a common fault. You will most likely find the fuel line has rubbed through on top of the tank midway between the fuel pump hatch & the front of the tank. Dan.

    Disco 2 Cup Holder

Shell out for them. Admittedly they are quite pricey for what they are, but after spending years putting up with the std crap pull out version you couldn't fit anything in or use the controls behind it was worth it. Dan.

    Wiper blades

Wish I had seen searched for this before I bought a replacement set of D2 arms as mine weren't making great screen contact with new bosch blades. Anyway if its of any use to anyone, I got a set from Allmakes4x4 on ebay for £44.99 complete with wiper blades that seem to do the job well so far. Dan

    Rear Floor Rust

Lucky for me I found the surface rust on my landy boot floor when I was inspecting fuel lines. Mine was caused by a hole in the rusty fuel pump cover wich had let water through when I went offroad. Dan.

    TD5 Starting Issues

Get a pressure test done at the fpr. I had a problem before with my Disco 2 & bought a new fuel pump. I had good voltage & the pump was doing the bleed procedure fine. I even removed the fpr & had diesel ****ing out at a good rate. Turns out the new pump was **** & when tested was about 2.7 bar...

    Sidelights not working front/rear

I didn't turn the ignition on with the harness unplugged, just checked continuity as I feared I may have of broken/burnt through the wiring where I had been welding. Thank`s for your help so far Sierraferry I do appreciate the time you put in to help myself and others. I found a green 40A fuse...

    front near side, side light

Try Fuse 11 in the fuse compartment under the steering wheel. It`s a red 10 amp that was in mine, wich continued to blow the fuse. Sierraferry is a helpful electrical guru. Dan.

    Sidelights not working front/rear

Is`nt that sort of what I done though ? by unplugging that part of the wiring connector harness, it allowed me to see wether I had continuity through the red/black wire on either the front or rear part of the wiring circuit by splitting it in half & testing the front then rear. Sorry if I have...

    Sidelights not working front/rear

After having no joy unpinning the electrical pin (probably due to me mangling it with a variety of screwdrivers etc) I made a long bit of wire up & checked continuity between the multiplug & rear black/red trace wire & repeated the same with the front and got continuity. So where to look now ? Dan.

    Disco 2 Advice

Just thought I remembered seeing a thread where someone was saying that due to the big rad the engine ran quite cool and for the cooler months, there was no rush to refit the fan if it wasn't working. I also saw someone that had fitted an electric rad fan, that had a sensor retrofitted in a...
