I mix some diesel with old engine oil and spray that around.
It's a tip and old boy told me back in the early 80's, and have done it with all of my keepers.
My Nissan Terrano was solid underneath, when I sold it, the buyer had owned them before and knew the places to check for rot.
He couldn't...
Depends where it is, double skinned panels are a pain, because of access.
Also, if the dent is on a swage line, not so easy to repair.
But try a "dents away" type repair. Look at the reviews though
I'm after a front mudflap for my D1, I need the rhs, drivers side.
Preferably an original LR one, with the mountain logo.
Doesn't have to have the bracket, just as long as its in decent nick.
Thanks
How about taking it to a sign making company, a neighbour is a sign maker and made some for a motor bike, I once owned.
He scanned the old decals and made new ones
Bubbles in the coolant usually point to a head gasket, but it could be that it's air locked.
Try opening the cab heater to hot and raising the front of the engine up..on stands or facing up hill.
Then add coolant really slowly, when the engine is cold.
Sorry, I can't help with you enquiry, but I know that you need to use GL4 gear oil in certain gear boxes. GL5 attacks certain bronze fittings.
But you're talking about the engine.
Well done you, that's more electric fiddling than I could have done.
I bet there are plenty of owners who are spending £££'s at garages, who are just fitting new pieces, trying to get the lights to go out.
If you live in London, your property will be worth a lot more than our country properties.
Plenty have moved into our village, the people who bought our old house, moved from a 2 bedroom flat into our 3/4 bedroom semi.
You have finally been bitten by modern technology and possibly a dodgy operator.
This is where the wallet, probably starts taking a hammering.
Sorry to read this and hope you can get it sorted, without to much pain.
Really sounds like you should be getting legal advice though.
Good luck with it
