Hey Paul..at the risk of being accused of being a soft southerner, is there a b&b nearby at all ? ( save me googling it ). Since my surgery and stuff I really can't manage very well with the camping bit but really want to come both for the laning and for the craic.

We can probably only do the Friday and Saturday and come back home that night ..family stuff on the Sunday Paul...we are both off on the Friday if you want a hand setting stuff up..just shout

The advantages to the show meet arrangement have all been stated and are absolutely right...but...what i found on the two occassions i went was that although you did have a passing through of a few members to the stand you generally got a few core members there and you certainly didnt get...

I echo beastys thoughts. Stick to a club stand at the big shows..the one we did at bristol& west and the other at...where ever it was ( i was on morphine for my back and have no recollection of the location at all ) were good weekends. And regional laning trips offer the ability to spread both...

Its a shame becauuse i really enjoyed the last few years but it clearly isnt what most people want so onwards and upwards. my plan is to do more of the local lanes and more weekend laning trips around the country so hope to meet more of you in time.

I have two toilets...one posh one and Rob's one. We have a pub 150 metres away will that do :D

With this number of tickets sold we could have the event in my back garden ..im only 5 miles from stanford hall :rolleyes:

The deadline for ticket sales is this weekend. we have sold 23 tickets so far

When we looked at dates there was two other event identified ( neither in the locality )...they hadnt even announced the big landy show dates at that point. We have to fit in with the dates of availability at the campsite too. If we book too far innadvance we risk doing what has happened...

I suspect it wouldnt do any good..there just doesnt appear to be the demand. And in true blue Maggie T style ...market forces will out im afraid :(

There once was an event called LZ uncertain if it was still going ahead. Lots of things had been planned including a band, But if you dont buy a ticket its dead :( (Come on see if you can do better)

Sitting here on a damp bank holiday monday and thinking ,with a heavy heart ,about work tomorrow. Really looking forwards to LZ13 and keeping my fingers crossed it goes ahead....really fancy a day's laning with old friends and new and an evening of banter and beer around a campfire.

I know weve mentioned it before but if there are people who really like the idea of the social side of the event but who's vehicle is their pride and joy and who absolutely dont want to go laning in it we have a couple of options. We can arrange a grouo outing for those not laning to go to the...
