    As you said it’s fine when warm, are you getting a reading from the coolant temp sensor, as it’s probably used in the fuelling strategy

    The reason I asked is a friend of mine had a similar warning on his vehicle, but after diagnostics it turned out to be the adblue sensor at fault. I’m wondering if the mechanic who came out to clean dpf actually did any diagnostics or went straight to pumping crap into the car.

    You need the g4 gap if it’s a later D5.

    Lift rods work ok but limit how much extended off road height is available as you have already used 50mm of the available travel. Same result can be achieved using a gap tool to increase the suspension either permanently or as and when it’s needed. Or there are blocks that fit onto strut that...

    Glencoyne sell the best ones in my opinion. Avoid the bearmach ones , I fitted them and had vibrations throughout the car, swapped immediately for Glencoyne and problem resolved , been fitted years now and after plenty of hard off roading still appears to be in excellent condition.

    I’ve got the electronic locking rear differential fitted on mine. It seems to work a lot of the time even in on road situations, also sometimes it doesn’t fully lock as the computer sees fit, in rock crawl and mud and ruts it fully locks.
