I rang NWB Doncaster, they do identify their bearings with NWB, so I will be using them.

OK, so nobody's heard of them then. Of course, it might be that I've been sent to Coventry. I know that they are made in China, but I am wondering if the fact they are supplied by Bearmach rather than in a blue box is enough to give me confidence.

As the title says, anyone have any experience of them? I have ordered some swivel seal kits from Mailorder 4x4 (very impressed with service BTW), and I was pleased that the parts were all in Bearmach boxes. My only question is the bearings, are they good enough? In an ideal world I'd have Timkin.

I was intending to lift the whole body off, seems to save a lot of problems with aligning bits.

Well, not mine, but the body of a County 90. I'm looking at the best way to lift the body off when I change the chassis. I'm thinking of renting a small digger JCB type thingy, but need to have some idea of the weight. I have a tree above where it's parked, but will have to move the body across...
