Not thread lock as in compound should have been short reach plug not long so it locked out and jammed against head...

Only broke one on my 101 V8 just after I got it rh bank rear the most difficult one to remove snapped off so couldnt remove as the hex head was in the socket!...had to remove head and take to head specialist as easy out tools didnt work PO fitted long reach plugs and thread locked the bloody...

Being a marine engineer maybe he should float it onto a trailer...

How can you not move it on 4 dollys?...they have their own wheels that turn dont need vehicle wheels...

Stick 4 plastic trays under the wheels and winch on to trailer...or buy 4 cheap wheel dollys...

Youtube overheating coil there are tests you can do...when it cuts out have you tested for spark while engine is still hot...

It appears they are buying after work done ...If they do I predict wont end happily as theyv'e not listened to any advice and I would suggest no clue about Land Rovers or their problems and cost to repair...FC certainly aint going to throw a shi.t load of money at it just to hope they get a sale...

I said that already...in fact I also said take a couple of plugs out and give it a whiff of EZ its what we do with non starting mowers strimmers etc if it coughs and farts then its not ignition problem...

Move to Portugal and leave your keys in the Landy door or in your mail box at the end of the road as we all do from time to time and their still in the same place in the morning...outside local supermarket nip in keys in car no problem...

Paint the underside of the checker plate panel with a rubber roof sealant let set then fit if your worried or just give it a coat of thick gloss paint but dont use a seperant membrane...

Cant do the work but is an easy repair...got local metal supplier to fold up repair panels...
