Hi Guys, Just got the landy back from MOT and it went through without any issues:) Great news there! However, today i started replacing the old and battered side lights and indicators with nice new Wipac LED units. I snipped the old units out, soldered the new ones in and all was going well...

Ah fair enough... i've only ever surfed in the river mouth on an outgoing tide and it's definitely not as salty as the surrounding sea but equally it's by no means fresh water!

Hi Guys, Does anyone out there have a headlining they don't want? I don't care how saggy it is as long as the base is all in one piece... (mine split as i was removing it!) My defender is a 90 with a sunroof but will consider any 90 headlining! Cheers GF

If anyone wants a good bit of water, i saw someone ploughing through the water on the Bigbury tidal road from Averton Gifford. Not sure if it was an incoming tide but i'd much rather do it on a falling tide just in case! Plus on a falling tide the water won't be as salty so not as much rust...

Are you still looking for some lanes in Devon? I know of loads around newton abbot, totnes and a few on Dartmoor...

Having had the landy off the road for the past few years... i'd forgotten how negative this forum can get! I really appreciate the positive feedback people are giving so thanks for that. I fully appreciate that a pair of £200-300 headlights in a defender are never going to be as good as those...

The ones my friend uses (Britpart Lynx Eye) are easily comparable to the headlights of a 2015 Audi A6 that his dad has... IMO, Audi quality lights in a defender is a pretty good way to spend money!

Ah ok when looking at it i did think it was coming out from the joint washer. It's due a good service so i'll get them to do the bearings too if needed Thanks for the help guys

Is un-blocking the breather a simple job? As in... do i need any specialist tools? Same for the seals... is that simple?
