What and where is the snake oil reservoir ?

It's up and running again, but now I've got a constant whistle from the back of the plenum chamber, i think its the result of the bang, any ideas ? Thanks

I've pulled the spark plugs out, checked for compression witch is ok, looked at the distributor, the rotar arm is moving up n down with the shaft, hope its not snapped in the oil pump, thanks everyone for the feedback

Hi, I was driving my 3.9 v8 disco LPG yesterday, all was normal then I heard I loud bang from the engine then it died, just turns over now, no sign of life, it was on LPG when it went bang, any ideas? Thanks charlie

Hi I'm after some advice, my electric seat switch is shot, I tried to black wire the seat switch got it to move then I blew the fuse, I can't find the fuse, I've checked under the dash, under the seats, only passenger side as 2 fuses, nothing under the drivers seat! Any ideas? Thanks

Hi I want to take my centre silencer off my 98 disco and put a straight through pipe in its place, I can't seem to get a straight through pipe anywhere, every company I ask only do it for the diesels, any ideas? Thanks

Thanks for the replys, the engine doesn't seem to be misfiring, I can put a cup a tea on the rocker cover with the engine running on tick over, but when I start the engine from cold as soon as I put my foot on the accelerator pedal it nearly dies, then I hear the whistling noise, after a minute...

Hi I'm after some advice, my 98 disco v8, i get a whistling sound from the engine sounds like it coming from the plenum chamber, plus sometimes a loss in power, also mpg in single figures, any ideas? Thanks
