    I take your point about the 130 being big but if I am going to spend 3 months at a time or longer with the wife, we need a decent living space. If I was on my own I would go for a 110 with AluCab pop top but we cannot make do with a 120cm wide bed 😜

    Hi, yes I have driven a lot of 110s in the Alps. The arm position did bother me on long trips I have to admit but I did get used to it. It's true that I can get a 10 year younger vehicle if I go Hilux or Nissan patrol. Heart still says LR though

    Hiya, new to the forum, be nice! I am looking at building a bespoke camper to cross Africa in. Heart says it has to on the back of a Landy. Head says do it on a Hilux (boo hiss) I have seen a 130 with a cherry picker on the back. Ideal base to start from once the cherry picker is removed...
