Righto, panic over!! took the diaphragm lid off on the injector pump, cleaned the little bit of crud off on the conical shaped shaft and free'd the pin that runs horizontal on the conical shaft off and a gave it a good helping of WD40, now she's purring like a beauty! Thanks for advice! :)

OK thanks for the info, will swap the injector pump tomorrow and see if that fixes it! It's probably worth saying the intake manifold has got a layer of thick gunky oil in it, was going to clean all that up when we do the head gasket... I'm assuming that means the turbo is leaking a bit then...

I had the same white smoke on my 90 in the morning, so got the head overhauled - valve stem seals were shot (causing the white smoke in the mornings) so had new Valves and stem seals in! At the same time had the injector pump recon'd + 4 new injector tips... Massive difference, sounds like a new...

85 to replace & seat the new valves, guides, stem seals & do a leak test!! I supplied the parts mind... Thought that was an OK price!

My 300 had been puffing blue/white smoke in the mornings, so I saved me pennies and had a full head rebuild, injector pump & injectors recon... What a machine now! Sounds sweet and smokes a lot less now! Would recommend doing something similar if you're a bit smokey or have an itchy arse and...

My mate had a 2" lift and like l&p said, he didn't have to do anything really... And im sure the ride wasnt affected...
