Hi all, the stereo in my p38 screen has gone and was looking to put a dvd system with a flip out monitor in. have heard rumors this is impossible due to the harman kardon that's in the truck originally. p38 diesel cut out the other day whilst driving due to, what i later discovered to be a lack of diesel :doh:, even though my gauge and trip computer said i had over 110 miles of fuel left in her. must admit that the car had been stationary for a month. i now cant trust my fuel gauge anymore but...

went to my local LR dealer today and they told me that i would have to cut the striker. seems a bit brutle but i ordered a new striker today at the cost of £2.90. if only they would have put a key hole on the other side. lol.

no. it only seems to do it when its warm! if you drive it and then take it out of gear its fine. low tickover may be??

when i slow down and dip the clutch i get a strange (annoying) juddering for about 3 seconds, however this dies of sooner if i give some revs?? any ideas?? also it seems to do it less, the more fuel thats in it?? many be the tick over is low??

alright mate, good choice in my opinuon, i got a1997 range 2.5dse and round town im getting 27mpg and on a long run (280 miles) to south wales, i get an amazing 33-35mpg, which i must admit i was suprised about when i first brought the range. hope this was of some help to you mate, good luck..

iv just got on to my dealer and they want £1400 to put it right. thinking it will stay as it is for a while.

hi there, i do the same type of driving as yourself and i got a 2.5 dse manual. does the pulling well with the caravan. plus i get bout 29mpg when towing. i am toying with i idea of a chip or somthing though just for normal driving.

went to shut my sunroof on my p38 today and it slide folwards fine and the as the roof slides up to fully close the pasanger side just stayed where it was. this is leaving me a 2 cm gap for the lovely british weather to enter, any ideas why gents?? or how to sort it....help!!:( :(

Been after a wrap around bull bar for my p38 now for ages, (the same as the one in the layer cake film). Anybody got any ideas where to get one from?? :confused:
