hi, i have a 1995 N-reg disco 300tdi which i use for towing. it has done just over 117k. im starting to feel alot of slack in the transmission when changing gear or pulling away which i believe is due to the transfer box. there are no strange noises apart from clunking if rough letting clutch up...

ive already uprated the springs and shocks, alloys with bf goodrich tyres and de-cat exhaust system. does doing away with the egr make much difference?

thanks for your help. i will look at the spider and get one of bypass thingys that plugs in instead. unfortunately i dont have the other keyfob. any ideas on stopping the alarm so that i can get in to change/repair the spider? the keyfob wont work and ive tried entering the 4 digit security code...
