these units are made by becker, they are fitted in bmw's rover's to name just a few. search for becker on ebay or google.

becker sat nav now fitted with the speed sensor wire located. works great, used it to go down devon and back, just need an up to date disc anyone know where to get one from.

i get these from the factory that makes and assembles the prop shaft for the freelander. so they are original equipment. you dont have to bodge them in any way.

Freelander prop shaft gaitors now available on ebay. item number 190577189358.

When you have the front prop off and on the bench, you will see that the cv has a thin metal cap on one end and on the other is a metal ring which is part of the gaitor. You need to prise this metal ring off the cv with a small screwdriver. Once removed you can remove the outer cv.

Hippo, you are not seeing the point, you are paying 22 quid extra for the land rover name on the bottle. If you have read the ad fully on Rimmer Bros it even states it is for the JF506E gearbox.
